About us

Who we are

TCN (Thriving in Chaos Network) exists to support young people and families as they navigate a world that often feels overwhelming, confusing, and fast-moving.

We started TCN because we kept hearing the same things from teenagers and parents:

  • “I don’t know how to talk about what I’m feeling.”
  • “I feel pressure all the time.”
  • “I’m not sure where God fits into all of this.”

We saw a gap between what young people were experiencing and the spaces available to them. Many felt unheard. Many felt alone. Many were quietly struggling — especially in a world shaped by social media, academic pressure, and constant comparison.

TCN was created to be a gentle, thoughtful response to that reality.

Dr Wanjiku Maruti

Dr Wanjiku Maruti, is a mum to teens, wife and the founder of the Thriving in Chaos Network. The Network was born from watching young people grow up in a world more overwhelming than any generation before them — a world of social media pressure, identity confusion, anxiety, and constant comparison.

Dr Maruti brings a rare combination to this work:

  • 18+ years of global experience in organizational effectiveness
  • Academic depth – doctoral research on social transformation and resilience
  • Christian faith that anchors everything

Dr Maruti believes resilience is not about being tough. It is about being aware, connected, adaptable, and grounded in who God created us to be.

Through Thriving in Chaos, we are building a generation of teens who are calm under pressure, confident in identity, wise in choices, and courageous in purpose. Because when the world gets louder, young people need stronger roots.
