What TCN does and does not do

TCN is not a clinical service. We do not provide therapy, clinical counselling or crisis intervention. We say this plainly because it matters: if your family needs professional help, the right and loving thing to do is contact one of the services above.

What we offer is the part that sits alongside professional care — devotionals, honest conversation, youth circles, and writing for parents and teenagers. Using a clinical service is not a failure of faith or of parenting.

If you are worried about a young person

Act today, rather than waiting to see, if you notice:

  • Any mention of self-harm, or of not wanting to be alive
  • Sleep or appetite that has collapsed and stayed that way for weeks
  • Complete withdrawal from everyone they normally see
  • Any sense that they are not safe, or are being harmed by someone

You do not need to be certain before you call. These services exist for exactly this uncertainty.

Reporting online harm

For online exploitation, grooming or sextortion, contact Fichua kwa DCI on 0800 722 203. Do not pay a blackmailer and do not delete the messages — screenshots are evidence. For scams and fraud, contact KE-CIRT at incidents@ke-cirt.go.ke.

Contact details change over time. If a number here is out of date, please let us know.
