Questions parents ask

What ages does TCN work with?
Our core work is with young people aged 14–17. Rooted in Freedom is for young adults preparing to start—or already enrolled in—university, college or another course.
Is this counselling or therapy?
No. TCN does not provide therapy, clinical counselling or crisis intervention. Where a family needs professional help we say so and point to Kenyan services.
Are parents involved?
Yes. Parents are partners rather than bystanders. We communicate clearly, offer parent resources, and encourage the conversations to continue at home.
How do we start?
Explore Rooted in Freedom now, or subscribe for an announcement when Youth Circles open. You can also get in touch and we will talk through the right next step.
